Workers have begun installing steel reinforcement as foundation work gets underway for the new U.S. Embassy building.
The structure will be located at the former Trinidad Country Club site on Long Circular Road in Maraval.
The update comes from the Embassy, which says the facility is expected to become the future hub of U.S. diplomacy in T&T.
The project is expected to be completed in 2029.
