A part of the $94million grant to T&T from China will be used to purchase fire tenders to ensure stations are equipped.

The Prime Minister says Minister Roger Alexander will provide her with a list of stations that are in need of receiving the tenders.

She noted too that the money from China was a grant, and not a loan, therefore it will be used for Chinese labour, supplies, goods and services.

Meanwhile, during her high-level meetings in New York, she says a MOU was signed with the United Arab Emirates to help in several infrastructure projects.

One of them will be to rehabilitate the Childrenโ€™s Hospital in Couva.
