On Monday, pavement marking works will be carried out along the westbound lanes of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway and Beetham Highway.
The section being targeted lies between the Aranguez Overpass and Pioneer Drive.
The exercise will run from July 13th to 24th, with work hours from 1pm to 6pm.
During this time, sections of the westbound lanes will be temporarily restricted in phases, with motorists to be directed to the remaining open lanes.
The Transport Ministry says to minimise traffic disruption, the work was scheduled during the school vacation, when traffic volumes are typically lower.
It adds that this forms part of its ongoing programme to maintain and improve road safety on the nation’s roadways.
