The National Carnival Commission has launched its Vendor Excellence & Sustainability Training Programme, also known as VEST.
And it is inviting food & beverage and craft vendors sign up in order to strengthen their businesses and prepare for greater vending opportunities for Carnival 2027.
The NCC says VEST is designed as a practical development programme to support the development of a more professional and sustainable Carnival ecosystem.
It says participants will engage in key areas of business development and vendor excellence, including: Business Operations, Financial Management, Health & Safety, Customer Service & Hospitality, Event Operations, Tourism & Visitor Experience, Branding & Marketing, and Business Growth & Professionalism.
It will begin on October 6th with a specialised training session for food & beverage vendors only, with additional sessions to take place on October 13th, 20th and 27th.
All training sessions will be held at the Grand Stand in the Queen’s Park Savannah, running for about three hours each.
