Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander has denied claims of Government interference in the matter involving three members of the Hadeed family.
Speaking to the media after graduation ceremony in Tunapuna yesterday, the Minister defended the arrests, saying they were based on police intelligence, not politics.
Minister Alexander is urging the public to allow police to complete their investigation and avoid speculation while inquiries continue.
