The Eastern Regional Health Authority says there is no outbreak of tuberculosis or meningitis at the Sangre Grande Hospital Campus.
Its clarification comes in the wake of recent social media posts which it says are “inaccurate and misleading”.
The ERHA adds that it is committed to providing quality healthcare and is encouraging persons to get their information from official sources.
Recently, the Health Ministry said it was managing probable cases of chickenpox among some health staff at the Sangre Grande Hospital Campus.
