A High Court judge has urged Tobago jet ski operators to explore locations outside of Pigeon Point Heritage Park to conduct their business and launch watercraft.
Guardian Media has reported that during a virtual hearing today, the judge said operators should modernise how they attract customers.
She suggested the use of social media, apps, and partnerships with hotels instead of relying solely on Pigeon Point.
The matter stems from a temporary injunction granted to the THA in April, banning jet skis from Pigeon Point and Buccoo Reef following a fatal jet ski accident.
Tomorrow, the court is expected to hear final submissions before deciding whether the injunction will remain in place.
