Dr Lackram Bodoe says the Health Ministry is investigating claims regarding shortages of CDAP medications across the country.

According to the T&T Express, the Minister has requested reports from all the RHAs.

However, he noted that preliminary information suggests the problem is may be one of distribution rather than an overall shortage of drugs.

Pharmacists have reportedly been instructed to source medication from other health centres before turning patients away.

Dr Bodoe said the Ministry is also working to address wider supply chain and staffing issues, while reports have been requested on complaints about access to laboratory testing.
