GraceKennedy Foods is voluntarily recalling specific batches of Grace Tropical Rhythms Fruit Punch one litre.
In a statement, the company says the affected products were distributed in Jamaica, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Turks & Caicos Islands, and St. Maarten.
The affected product bears either of the following best-before codes:
- BB JUL 21 27 L6
- BB JUL 22 27 L6
The company said the recall is limited to the affected batches and markets identified and does not apply to any other batches of Grace Tropical Rhythms Fruit Punch 1L, or to products distributed in other markets.
It says the matter is considered a product-quality issue rather than a food-safety concern.
“No adverse health effects are expected from consumption of the affected product, and GK Foods has received no reports of illness or other adverse health effects associated with its consumption,” says the statement.
