Fans invited to take part in the CPL Step Challenge

The Republic Bank CPL Step Challenge is returning.

This global initiative once again invites fans to take a virtual fitness journey across six CPL host nations.

Running for 50 days from August 1st to September 19th 2026, the challenge raises the bar with a collective goal of 200 million steps.

“Participants will once again walk the virtual route from Antigua, St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Guyana and finally Barbados, with each milestone destination unlocking exclusive digital content, trivia, team leaderboards, and celebratory media as fans step in the footsteps of their favourite CPL teams,” says CPL.

Over the course of last year’s challenge, fans collectively logged 179 million steps- this is equivalent to more than 80,000 miles walked – enough to circle the globe over three times.

Guyana Amazon Warriors fans led the way, recording an incredible 53 million steps.

CPL has issued the following guidelines on how to join the challenge:

  • Download the YuMuuv App
  • Sign Up Using the Challenge Code
  • Open the app and enter the official sign-up code: CPL-MOVES to gain access to the challenge.
  • Enter Demographic Information
  • Complete your registration by providing:
    • Full Name
    • Email Address
    • Country of Residence
    • Connect Your Step Tracker
  • Choose preferred step tracking method based on your device:
    • Apple Health (iOS users)
      Google Fit (Android users)
  • Be sure to grant the necessary permissions so YuMuuv can collect step data automatically from the device’s health app.
  • Select Your Team
    • Last year the Guyana Amazon Warriors got the most steps and won the challenge. This year, each team’s score will be judged on the average steps per person who select that team so each person’s steps count even more.
