A body has been found in the Icacos Wetlands.
According to the Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Vallence Rambharat, the discovery was made this afternoon during a search for 38-year-old Indar Rampersad.
Mr Rampersad has been missing for about a week.
There is no identification yet for the body, which had been covered with dry grass and was in a state of decomposition.
HSRT says the skull also appeared to be separated from the body.
Investigations are continuing.
