ASJA is calling for unity and respect, amid what it describes as concerning racial discussions on social media and other platforms.
In a statement, the Muslim body rejected all forms of racism and discrimination and reaffirmed its commitment to equality and mutual respect.
ASJA is urging citizens, groups and institutions to uphold principles of fairness, justice and respect as the country works toward national development.
The organisation also pledged its willingness to work with the Government, civil society and communities to promote national unity.
