A major wastewater pipeline replacement project valued at nearly $20 million has been launched in Beetham Gardens.

According to WASA, it is meant to address longstanding sewerage issues in the community.

It says the project will replace 569 linear feet of compromised pipeline along the Main Road, between 5th and 7th Streets.

A new 47-inch diameter pipeline will be installed using trenchless technology to reduce disruption to residents and road users.

The project is a collaboration with the Public Utilities Ministry, with work expected to begin in mid-August 2026 and be completed within nine months.
