Education Minister Dr Michael Dowlath says a preliminary report has been received from Chaguanas South Secondary, following a violent student attack earlier this week.
Video of the incident shows several students attacking another boy, kicking him repeatedly in the head.
The victim loses consciousness and had to be physically carried away from the scene.
The Minister shared an update during this afternoon’s Lower House Sitting.
Minister Dowlath said the school has also been directed to conduct disciplinary hearings in line with the Ministry’s guidelines and the National School Code of Conduct.
