PM meets with US State Secretary

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar held talks today with US Senator Marco Rubio.

In a short social media video, she said the high-level discussions focused on strengthening bilateral interests between T&T and the US.

While the Prime Minister did not elaborate on the details of the talks, she indicated there is “good news to share.”

Mrs Persad-Bissessar is expected to return home tomorrow.
