A tropical depression could form later this week in the central sub-tropical Atlantic.
The National Hurricane Centre says a trough of low pressure is currently located about 1,000 miles east-southeast of Bermuda continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
Environmental conditions are expected to become more conducive for development by the middle of this week.
This system poses no threat to Trinidad and Tobago.
