Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander says the drone technology is set to be introduced to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
In a video released on the weekend, Mr Alexander said drone technology will enhance what already exists in the service.
He said it will be introduced as a patrol unit.
“A drone patrol unit for the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service in all 10 Divisions. They are bringing drone technology which will enhance these intelligence-led operations,” Mr Alexander said.
“It’s about Homeland Security working for the people.”
