The Government says work is continuing on the rehabilitation of the University of the West Indies- Debe Campus, however an opening date has not yet been confirmed.
In a response to 103.1FM News, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said work is in progress and the public will be advised in due course.
Earlier this week, Tertiary Education Minister Prakash Persad said the Government is addressing long-standing infrastructure issues at the campus.
The current target remains for classes to begin at the South Campus in September 2026.
