11 persons were arrested as police executed 17 warrants between last night and this morning.
Among them are eight men held on affiliation or maintenance warrants.
All the arrests were:
- A 38-year-old man of Old Road, San Juan/St. Joseph β arrested on an affiliation warrant ($5,900)
- A 39-year-old man of Green Street, Arima β arrested on three affiliation warrants ($36,600)
- A 44-year-old man of Evergreen, Carapo β arrested on an affiliation warrant ($79,750)
- A 28-year-old man of Jokhan, Carapo β arrested on two traffic warrants (driving under the influence and no certificate of insurance), fined a total of $3,000, in default two monthsβ simple imprisonment
- A 37-year-old man of Palm Trace, Valencia β arrested on a traffic warrant for littering, fined $1,000, in default three monthsβ simple imprisonment
- A 40-year-old man of Arima β arrested on an affiliation warrant ($2,606)
- A 43-year-old man of Pinto Road, Arima β arrested on an affiliation warrant ($2,100)
- A 42-year-old man of Brazil Village β arrested on an affiliation warrant ($3,999)
- A 47-year-old man of La Horquetta β arrested on an affiliation warrant ($16,400)
- A 24-year-old woman of Orchid Lane, La Horquetta β arrested on a warrant for possession for the purpose of trafficking, fined $10,000, in default two yearsβ hard labour
- A 69-year-old man of Brazil Lome Trace, San Raphael β arrested on two affiliation warrants ($32,500)
