Caribbean Airlines has been assigned to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation under a ministerial reallocation that took effect on April 2nd.
In an official Gazette notice, President Christine Carla Kangaloo, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, assigned responsibility of the state-owned airline to Transport Minister Eli Zakour.
The oversight was removed from the Finance Ministry, led by Minister Dave Tancoo, as part of a wider reassignment of duties.
Caribbean Airlines now falls under the Transport Ministry, alongside civil aviation, airports, and national transportation.
