U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Japan’s Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu and South Korea’s Foreign Minister Cho Hyun on the sidelines of APEC Leaders’ Week in Gyeongju.
The talks focused on advancing trusted economic leadership, strengthening supply chain resilience, and boosting cooperation in emerging technologies.
The three nations also reaffirmed their commitment to peace and the complete denuclearization of North Korea, pledging continued collaboration for a free and open Indo-Pacific.
