Venezuela’s National Assembly president Jorge Rodriguez has denied reports that the US sets deadlines or dictates Venezuela’s political or legislative agenda.

He said that accepting external timeline would violate the country’s constitution and undermine national sovereignty.

Rodriguez said the Venezuela government remains open to suggestions from international partners, including those from the USA and Europe.

He emphasized that attracting foreign investment requires strong legal, economic, and financial guarantees, particularly in Venezuela’s energy sector.
