New medications are now available under the revised Chronic Disease Assistance Programme (CDAP), effective October 1st.

The updated drug list includes treatments for heart problems, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and depression.

Health Minister Dr. Lackram Bodoe announced that the revision follows a review of CDAP’s performance and includes safer, more effective medicines, better diagnostics, and improved rural access for over 300,000 citizens.

The changes aim to enhance care, reduce costs, and align with the government’s broader health reform efforts.
