A woman police constable is expected to appear in court today to face three counts of Larceny by Trick.
She is accused of collecting $35,000 out of $50,000 allegedly demanded from a man under false pretenses, to expedite a firearm licence.
She was arrested during a sting operation in Chaguanas last month and found with marked cash.
Charges were laid following advice from the DPP.
