The much-anticipated third lane on the southbound lane of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, between Chaguanas and Chase Village, is now officially opened.
In addition to this, a new lay-by near Bhagwansingh’s Hardware is partially accessible.
The announcement, which was made via a Facebook video by the Ministry of Works, also added that works are still ongoing on the site.
Final touches such as drainage, guardrails, pedestrian safety features, and signage are still being added.
