Political analyst Dr Indira Rampersad has welcomed Government’s Revitalization Blueprint, which promises to boost the construction sector and create jobs in Trinidad and Tobago.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said on Tuesday that over 50,000 new jobs will be created under the plan, which features large-scale infrastructure projects nationwide.
Dr Rampersad told 103.1FM news earlier today it is a “welcome move.”
Dr Rampersad said the economy has been in decline even before the COVID-19 pandemic, and it needs a boost.
