Political analyst Dr. Indira Rampersad is welcoming government’s new Revitalization Blueprint, calling it a timely boost for Trinidad and Tobago’s struggling economy.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar unveiled the plan on Thursday, promising over 50,000 new jobs through major infrastructure projects across the country.
Dr. Rampersad told 103.1FM News that it’s a “welcome move”—especially given the economic slowdown that began even before the COVID-19 pandemic.
She says the plan has the potential to inject much-needed confidence, investment, and momentum into the national economy.
