TTPost says it is not accepting postal items containing merchandise goods destined for the United States, effective immediately.
It follows a US executive order on July 30th, which eliminates the duty-free de minimis exemption for goods valued at 800 dollars or less.
It means that all goods destined for the US will be subject to customs duties, regardless of value.
TTPost says it is actively engaging with its partners internationally to address this matter and restore the shipment of parcel services as soon as possible.
But, all other postal services remain unaffected, including letter mail to the United States. Â
