A Brasso Village labourer has been charged with two counts of murder following fatal shootings earlier this month.
Clevon Alexander of Riversdale Drive appeared before Master Whitney Franklin at the South Criminal Court on Monday, charged with the murders of Ricky Joseph and Darias Shadrack.
The 34-year-old was also charged with wounding with intent and firearm offences.
Police say Joseph and Shadrack were among four people shot in the Brasso district on October 15th.
Joseph died at the scene, while Shadrack succumbed to his injuries two days later.
Alexander was arrested on October 22nd and formally charged two days later, following advice from the Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Sabrina Dougdeen-Jaglal.
A sufficiency hearing has been set for September 18th, 2026.
