Dwight Yorke says Trinidad and Tobago deserved more from their FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Curacao, which ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night in Willemstad.
Tyrese Spicer scored in the second half to cancel out a goal by Kenji Gorre for Curacao in the first half.
The former Manchester United forward, now the national team head coach, said his team played better than Curacao and should have won both games.
Trinidad and Tobago is third in Group B on five points, behind Jamaica (9), and Curacao.
The top team in the group qualifies for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while the second-placed team goes into and inter-continental play-off for a place in the tournament.
Trinidad and Tobago last qualified for the World Cup in 2006, with Yorke as captain.
