A Yellow-Level Hazardous Seas Alert will be in effect for T&T from 5AM on October 4th to 9AM on October 8th.
The Met Office says north/north-easterly swells combined with spring tides are expected to cause rough seas, especially during high tides.
Large, battering waves may impact the surf zone, disrupting near-shore activities like fishing, swimming, and boat moorings.
Conditions may briefly ease on Monday morning but are expected to worsen again by midday.
Impacts may include the instrusion of salt water and displacement of sand, further than the average reach point.
The Met Service has advised that all marine interests carefully monitor nearshore and coastal sea conditions and exercise extreme caution along identified areas, while restricting nearshore marine activities.
