The body of an unidentified woman has been found along the North Coast Road in Maracas.
According to a T&T Express report, the body was discovered lying motionless on the roadway, near the Agro Shop, on Wednesday night around 10:45PM.
Police reported there were no visible signs of violence, however officers observed what appeared to be foam from her mouth and nose.
She is believed to be in her 20s, of mixed descent, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and was dressed in a black skirt, brown cardigan and cream-coloured Crocs.
