There will be a disruption in pipe-borne water supply for communities served by the North Oropouche Water Treatment Plant, this Sunday, March 15th, from 8AM to 4PM.
WASA says the disruption is necessary to facilitate an emergency cleaning operation at the plant’s intake, aimed at maintaining the system’s efficiency and the quality of raw water.
After the work is completed, service will be gradually restored, however, some customers may experience up to 48 hours before supplies return to normal.
