Newly-honoured Professor Emeritus Prakash Persad has challenged the University of Trinidad and Tobago to say true to its mission.
Professor Persad, the Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training, was honoured with the title “Professor Emeritus” at a ceremony on Tuesday.
Minister Persad spent almost two decades at the UTT and has served in academia, research and national service.
