Police have arrested two people and seized narcotics and ammunition during several anti-crime operations across Trinidad yesterday.
In Claxton Bay, CID officers found over a kilogram of cannabis in a home, leading to the arrest of a woman.
In San Juan, Task Force officers recovered cannabis and cocaine hidden near a bar.
In Cunupia, 66 rounds of 7.62 ammunition and four 12-gauge cartridges were seized from a male suspect’s home.
Meanwhile, in Laventille, cannabis was discovered and a stolen blue Hyundai Elantra recovered.
Operations were conducted by CID, Task Force, and Central and Port of Spain Division officers. Investigations into all matters are ongoing.
