The Met Service has discontinued its Hazardous Seas Alert.
However it is advising persons to continue exercising caution in all sea-related activities.
It says sea conditions along the northern and eastern exposed coastal areas have been gradually improving and are now forecast to be at moderate levels.
However, a moderate sea state still requires caution, as wave heights may occasionally exceed 2.5 meters.
