Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander and Jamaica’s National Security Minister Dr Horace Chang discussed plans to strengthen crime prevention and detection.
This comes as efforts are intensifed to overcome the scourge of criminal elements in the region.
A Ministry statement said both Ministers explored ways to ensure communication channels between relevant authorities tasked with combating crime remain open and are nurtured.
They promised to continue to share information and strategies to overcome the scourge of criminal elements in the region.
Talks were held in the margins of the 49th CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting in Jamaica.
