The Tobago People’s Party is hitting back at claims that a TPP administration would fire CEPEP or URP workers.
In a release issued yesterday, the party slammed the allegations as “reckless fake news” from the PNM.
The TPP cited its track record, noting it has actually raised salaries and introduced paid sick leave for thousands of workers.
They also confirmed that funding for the 2026 fiscal year has already been secured to ensure all workers are paid.
Political Leader Farley Augustine says the party stands by its workers, urging Tobagonians to reject what he calls “fear tactics” ahead of the January 12th polls.
