A $100 million dollar investment for infrastructure upgrades has been allocated by the THA for community-based projects.
This was disclosed during a media conference this afternoon, by Secretary of Public Infrastructure and Transport, Nathisha Charles-Pantin.
The initiative will be funded over two fiscal cycles, aimed at improving roads and public spaces across the island using local contractors.
The programme aims to address deterioration of public infrastructure and includes pothole patching, road marking, drainage works, sidewalk construction, and protective painting.
An extensive road paving programme is also ongoing, with plans for a comprehensive road condition assessment to help prioritise long-term rehabilitation efforts.
