From tomorrow, there will be a temporary traffic disruption along Park Street and Duke Street in Port of Spain, from Richmond Street to Piccadilly Street.
This is to facilitate civil works for the installation of new traffic signal infrastructure, which will include trenching across the roadway and paving.
These works will take place from March 11th to 31st, with work hours between 7pm and 3am daily.
During this time, motorists will be rerouted and are advised to comply with the following:
• Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
• Comply with instructions from Police Officers or flag persons on-site, to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
• Be aware of equipment in the work zone and when entering/exiting the site.
• Drive at a reduced speed and proceed with caution when approaching the work zone.
