Minister of Land and Legal Affairs Saddam Hosein says the re-launched Land for the Landless program will open the doors to land ownership for the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
Phase 1 of the Land for the Landless Program was launched this afternoon providing access to developed residential lots at subsidized prices.
Minister Hosein said low- and middle-income citizens, state employees, and recent tertiary graduates will now have access to land.
The Land Settlement Agency (LSA) the program will be implemented on a phased basis, and the public will be informed of all available sites for allocation as each phase is rolled out.
“Through this Programme, eligible applicants can access residential lots at a subsidized cost, helping more individuals and families build a secure future,” the LSA stated.
