Presentation College (San Fernando) whipped Shiva Boys’ Hindu College by 100 runs on Tuesday to take their second PowerGen Secondary Schools Cricket League (SSCL) title in four years.
At Clarke Road, Pres piled up 348 for 8 in 47 overs with Ethan Ramcharan scoring a brilliant 114.
Skipper Brendan Boodoo (67) and Levi Ghany (55) notched half-centuries before Boodoo took 2/12 to restrict Shiva Boys to 47 for 5 chasing a revised target of 148 off 20 overs.
Presentation College also took the title in 2023, winning all their matches for the season.
In other matches on Tuesday, Presentation College beat Vishnu Boys by 61 runs to clinch second place.
St Mary’s College eased past rivals QRC by seven wickets, while Naparima College got past Hillview College by 25 runs
