Police Seek Public’s Help to Find Missing Arouca Teen

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is seeking the public’s urgent assistance in locating missing teenager Kielyah Chewitt.

Chewitt, 17, of Arouca, was last seen around 11:20 pm on January 11, 2026. According to police, the teenager was reported missing at the Arouca Police Station at approximately 10:20 pm on January 12.

Police describe Chewitt as being of African descent, slim build, approximately five feet eight inches tall and dark brown in complexion. She also has short brown hair and a distinctive scar on her left hand.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.

Members of the public can contact the Arouca Police Station at 640-6138, call 800-TIPS, or reach the police through emergency numbers 555, 999 or 911, or at any police station.

The TTPS is also encouraging citizens to follow its official social media platforms for updates and information on matters affecting public safety.
