Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro insists that he is apolitical, and has no desire for any political office.
He is also hitting back at criticisms from former Top Cop Gary Griffith, accusing him of mismanaging the TTPS during his tenure.
Mr Guevarro today disseminated an audio statement to members of the media.

The Top Cop says while he was advised to not respond, moving forward he will not to engage with anyone seeking to undermine the TTPS.
