Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro has refuted recent media speculation about the rotation of the Deputy Commissioners of Police.
He said the rotations were done to coincide with two milestones, his first 100 days in office and one year in office by the DCPs.
He explained why the rotations were necessary and what it aims to achieve.
Commissioner Guevarro praised all the Deputy Commissioners and called for a stop to the rumor of a fractured leadership in the TTPS.
Meanwhile, the Police Commissioner also clarified he circumstances surrounding the vacation leave of Assistant Commissioner of Police Wayne Mystar.
Mr Guevarro added that no First Division officers were recalled from leave, as the TTPS deployment strategy ensured uninterrupted service.
He said leadership decisions are based on institutional priorities, not personalities and the focus remains on building a disciplined, adaptive police service worthy of public trust.
