The PNM has requested recounts for two electoral districts for the 2026 THA Elections.
They are:
- Darrel Spring/Whim
- Scarborough/Mt. Grace
The requested recounts are scheduled to begin at 3pm today.
According to the EBC, the preliminary count shows the Tobago People’s Party winning all 15 electoral districts.
Overall, the party accumulated 16,240 votes, compared to 10,456 for the PNM.
Voter turnout was reported to be 50.69%.
The EBC emphasizes however that the results are preliminary and remain provisional, pending the completion of the recounts and the final validation process.
