President Christine Kangaloo has received credentials from Dr. Linda Sobeh Ali, Ambassador Designate of the State of Palestine to T&T.
The two met yesterday at President’s House, with Her Excellency wishing Dr. Ali success in her new post.
The Ambassador Designate also met with Foreign Affairs Minister Sean Sobers, who in turn introduced her to Legal Affairs Minister Saddam Hosein.
According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the meeting was an opportunity to deepen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
In May last year, T&T joined the growing list of countries to formally recognise the State of Palestine.
