New road safety signs being erected

New road safety signage is being installed along key locations across the nation, to push road safety as a national priority.

The signs will guide road users and help reduce the risk of collisions, improve traffic flow and discipline on the roadways.

So far 12 areas have been chosen for these signs to be erected including:

1. Diego Martin Highway – Entry Northbound & Entry Southbound

2. Beetham Highway – Near NP Overpass (Eastbound)

3. Grand Bazaar Ramp to South – Eastbound

5. Uriah Butler Highway – Caroni – Southbound

6. Uriah Butler Highway – Chaguanas – Southbound

7. Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway – Couva/Preysal Southbound/Northbound

8. Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway – Gasparillo Southbound

9. Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway – Golconda Southbound (After Interchange)

10. Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway – Golconda Northbound (North of Interchange)

11. Churchill Roosevelt Highway/ O’Meara – Westbound 12. Churchill Roosevelt Highway/ Antigua Road – Westbound
