Met Service: Rivers elevated, CTTRC Chairman confirms floods subsided, fallen tree cleared

The Met Service says despite today’s continuous rainfall, major rivers remain contained at this time, but remain elevated.

The Local Government Ministry reported flooding and a fallen tree within the Couva Tabaquite Talparo Regional district, however both issues have since been resolved.

Chairman of the Corporation Ryan Rampersad updated 103.1FM News earlier today.
