Komal Maharaj has been safely found.
According to a Newsday report, the 41-year-old teacher and financial consultant was located at a hotel in Piarco yesterday, after being reported missing at the Chaguanas Police Station on September 27th.
CCTV captured him leaving his home that day, and a witness said they later spotted him at the Chaguanas savannah, appearing worried and on his phone.
In July 2024, Mr Maharaj went missing after withdrawing cash from an ATM at Price Plaza, Chaguanas, after which he was found about two weeks later with his family, claiming he was kidnapped and taken to Venezuela.Â
