Guyana President Dr Irfaan Ali has met with His Royal Highness King Charles III on 27 January at Buckingham Palace, England.
The Guyana President said they discussed ongoing collaborations between the two nations—specifically in the areas of environmental protection, biodiversity, and climate action.
The engagement highlighted Guyana’s leadership in sustainable development and its role in global efforts to combat climate change, including forest conservation and low-carbon initiatives.
The meeting also underscored the shared commitment of both leaders to advancing climate resilience and promoting international partnerships aimed at protecting vulnerable ecosystems while supporting sustainable economic growth.
